Decatur, IL – Scovill Zoo held their annual Zoo-rific Evening on Saturday, August 22.
Air Choice One President/CEO, Shane Storz and Manager, Planning & Business Development, Brenda Barnes, attended the event.
Also in attendance was Decatur Airport Director, Tim Wright.
Participants were treated to a mini safari that included delicious food and beverages at stations throughout the zoo, rides on the train and carousel, several varieties of music, and animal entertainment.
Adding to the festivities was a “Selfie Safari.”
The end of the evening was marked by an auction under the Big Top, with all proceeds benefiting Scovill Zoo. Among the items up for auction were a painting of a zebra from the Endangered Special Carousel at the zoo, a hand appliqued, machine quilted art quilt called “Forest Galorest,” and a hand molded, rhubarb leaf-shaped concrete birdbath.
