St. Louis, MO – Regional Midwest Airline Air Choice One has taken delivery of their second new Cessna Caravan 208B EX aircraft. Company President/CEO Shane Storz and CFO Darnea Wood accepted the new aircraft at the Cessna Aircraft Corporation Factory in Wichita, KS yesterday.
“It’s an exciting time of growth for Air Choice One. We’re elated to expand our fleet and pleased to be able to offer a new level of in-flight comfort to our passengers,” said Storz.
The aircraft is equipped with a state-of-the-art command center, powered by the all-glass Garmin G1000 avionics suite. With technology adapted specifically for Cessna, available synthetic vision technology (SVT) integrates all primary flight, engine, and sensor data. This intuitive, at-a-glance control panel optimizes situational awareness for pilots.
It also boasts TKS anti-ice/de-ice systems that exude glycol-based fluid through laser drilled holes on the leading edge of the wing and other critical surfaces. This prevents precipitation from adhering to the aircraft, further enhancing both safety and operational reliability.
This next generation Cessna Caravan joins Air Choice One’s existing fleet of Caravans, for a total of 10 aircraft.
With major hubs located at Chicago O’Hare International and Lambert-St. Louis International Airports, the new aircraft will operate throughout Air Choice One’s route system. Markets served include Burlington, IA; Decatur, IL; Fort Dodge, IA; Ironwood, MI; Jackson, TN; Jonesboro, AR and Mason City, IA.
Established in 1979 and based in St. Louis, MO, the company is committed to enhancing the travel experience for both business and leisure travelers. Each of their aircraft makes a bold statement of style and comfort, featuring a spacious, all leather interior and an abundance of legroom.
