Go down to Mosquito Park to get a view of the Mississippi River and the barges as they travel by. If you enjoy being surrounded by nature, Bangert Gardens hosts over 200 different kinds of trees, and at Big Hollow Park you can camp, hunt, fish, practice your aim at their shooting range, and ski. That’s right, skiing is one of Burlington’s attractions, and you can also cross country ski at Starr’s Cave and Nature Center and Preserve.
