Air Choice One Reaches Milestone at the Mason City Municipal Airport

The Missouri-based airline, Air Choice One, whom operates an Essential Air Service contract at the Mason City Municipal Airport, has set another milestone for 2019, as it has reached over 8000 passenger boarding’s.

18 February 2020 –. Air Choice One was awarded the Essential Air Service contract in Mason City, IA in October of 2014 and started providing service in November of 2014. Currently, the airline connects the Mason City passengers to Burlington, Iowa, Chicago, Illinois, and Minneapolis - St. Paul, Minnesota. These destinations provide the Mason City passengers seamless connections to the National Transportation System and the world.

Mason City Municipal Airport (MCW) is located six miles west of downtown Mason City, in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa. It is in the northern part of Lake Township, just east of the city of Clear Lake. It is used for general aviation and has airline service subsidized through the Essential Air Service (EAS) program.
